ACTV makes this offering available through the facilities of affiliated member companies like yours, who in turn receive payment for specific services such as billing subscribers and local network maintenance.

   ACTV owns and operates the video headend, located at the Aureon facility in Des Moines, IA. ACTV works with affiliated local telcos to provide and install the equipment needed to receive the Absolute Cable TV signals at the telco location. ACTV pays the telco for customer acquisition and billing, use of last-mile connectivity to subscribers, and use of trucks for customer service. These fees, in addition to revenue from STBs and feature fees, allow affiliated telcos to transition to a profitable video option.
